Magpie Lillyplume is just as unique as her name. This lovely three-year-old came to Lollypop Farm from a home where she lived with - and got along well with - a lot of dogs. Unfortunately she didn't get as much human interaction as she would have liked, so she's understandably shy around new people.

Do you have a quiet home, the patience to show Miss Magpie Lillyplume that people are full of love and treats, and ideally another dog to give her confidence and teach her life lessons? Younger children are likely to be a bit overwhelming for her - especially as she's only 16 lbs - but older children who can give her the time to adjust would be fine.

Because she's still learning to trust, we'd like Magpie to meet everyone in the home, both people and dogs. If you have a cat (or several) our counselors can give you tips for introducing them and fostering inter-species harmony.
