Do you find animals with googly eyes adorable? Well, so do we! Meet Maliah, a young lady just waiting to find her perfect soulmate that will toss toys for her until she just can't play anymore. She likes cuddle time, playtime, and just hanging out with her friends. While here, we have noticed that she is slow to warm up but loves the people she feels comfortable around. She has some reservations about being handled and asks that you don't try to interact with her during mealtimes. The recommendation for Maliah's success is a home with no children under the age of 12 and no cats or small animals.

Maliah has been having fun spending time with her Champion while here at the shelter. Here is what her Champion had to say: "Maliah has a smile that won't quit. Except when you ask her to go outside for a walk. Then she sits right down and stares at you with the look of a princess not accustomed to outdoors-y endeavors. She much prefers to chase toys inside and enjoy all that the indoors has to offer. Many times, that involves treats and lots of butt wiggles. When she has had enough, she lays down with one leg out, as only royalty does when relaxing. Maliah would love a family who understands nobility needs some time to warm up to their royal court, that jaunts across her grounds need to include plenty of rest, and she wants to be the only princess in the palace."
